Biography

My name is Nicole Michele Sobchack. I am a New York, Meisner trained actress. While in New York I had the unique opportunity to run a theatre company. The experience fulfilled both my artistic and business sides with writing, producing, directing, and acting. In 2007 I moved to Los Angeles to bring the same multi-faceted approach to the Film and Television world. I have studied TV and film acting with Joel Asher, commercial technique with James Cutts, I've done a Masterclass with Jason Alexander, & am proudly a member of the Second City Conservatory. I am a SAG-AFTRA member. In June of 2010 I finally graduated to speaking roles in the upcoming biopic, “Machine Gun Preacher” where I was lucky enough to have 2 great scenes with Gerard Butler and Michael Shannon. I was recently featured in Garry Marshall's, "New Year's Eve". Previously, I have been featured in both film and TV projects including notably playing the bridesmaid that Rob Corddry molests in “What Happens In Vegas“ and Mrs. Bennett, the murdered first wife of Dylan Walsh in the remake of “The Stepfather”. As a writer/producer I have co-written a full TV Episodic Dramedy, “Consiglier-A”, and a paranormal thriller feature film screenplay, “Lore Harbour”. In addition I assembled a brilliant team of writers, producers, directors and fellow actors to create three independent pieces to showcase my acting range. Having made the move to Los Angeles and immersed myself in the Film and Television world, I can now say I am in love with all side of my craft: stage, film, television, and commercial.
